Roxanne Nikki, born and raised in Winnipeg, started designing when she was just three years old. After noticing her sketches, Nikki's mother began making her clothing. It was not until she was writing her final exams to receive her Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and sociology from the University of Winnipeg, however that Nikki realized she could have a career in fashion design. After graduating from LaSalle College in Montreal, Roxanne worked for a variety of companies as an illustrator, patternmaker and junior designer. Her unique styling soon evolved into a full-time obsession and the creation of the eponymous ROXANNE NIKKI ® label. Upon selling her first collection nationwide in 1994,Nikki's instincts led her to re-locate her fashion business from Montreal to Vancouver. Her instincts and passion have served her well, garnering the designer national awards and international recognition as one of Canada's top talents. ROXANNE NIKKI ® collections have been sold in department stores and specialty boutiques across Canada, and continue to be showcased around the world.
